// I'm not sure I know one single person who doesn't like weekends? I think the weekend's all about getting a re-boost of life to prepare for the next week, but I also feel like it's important to do fu things. It's quite difficult wanting to be productive, have time to recover and also take time to be lazy. Really, it is all about sparing some time for it. Do you want to/have to clean up in your home? Take time to do it thoroughly, 100%, and afterwards you're all finished. Do you want to watch a movie on the couch? Set aside some time for that and let yourself do that!
Below you have a few simple steps to help you:
❥ Do you want to be productive this weekend? It doesn't have to mean work - remember you only have 5 working days in a week. But, if there's anything you need to get gone during the weekend it's smart to sit at a table, a bit more organized and inspiring. Sitting on the couch is very cozy, but you'll probably not be as productive unfortunately..
❥ It is okay to relax! Even if it's easy to plan a lot of things during your days off, it is very important to set aside some time for relaxing. Sometimes you really just want to watch Netflix all night and that is totally fine. If you have a lot of things to do during the weekend it might be smart, though, to be productive during the days and then you can spend all evening with your favorite movies.
❥ It is good to leave the digital world for a while. Often harder than we think, but it might help you relax a bit as well. Invite a few friends for some board games, lit candles and some charcuteries for a change and let your phone be just for a while.
❥ Indulge! I feel like this is sooo important to be able to relax. It doesn't necessarily mean that you should buy that super expensive bag that you've been longing for, but it can be about cooking (well yes buying too) a nice dinner for yourself, get a face mask on, have a glass of wine or actually eating that bag of candy which you've stayed away from all week.
